A beautiful specimen and sole top pop (at time of writing) for the 1850 half dollar re-punched date WB-1, this coin is graded a mere Mint State 62. Pastel tones cover the obverse, and brighter greens and blues adorn the reverse of the coin. Some weakness of strike is noted on the eagle’s talons, but periphery is strong. A few ticks can be noted in the field adjacent to Miss Liberty’s outstretched hand, but nothing is distracting from the overall quality of the coin.
